Henry Amesbury was instrumental in his team's 9-6 triumph over the San Antonio Storm Troopers. The left fielder went 1-2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Long Island Ducks. Ricardo Hernández, the winner, improved to 1-1. He held the Storm Troopers to 2 earned runs on 3 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 5. Juan Mascote locked down his 1st save.

Amesbury contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Long Island in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Amesbury took a fastball from Dennis Hale and stroked the home run to right-center. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Ducks to leap in front, 4-1.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Elvis Callahan.

The Storm Troopers fall to 8-10 and continue their wobbly start to the 2033 season.
