The Wichita Wolverines defeated the Spokane Bulldogs, 12-6, at Howling Park. Shane Gross was named player of the game for Wichita. The Wolverines got a big at-bat from left fielder Alan Isaac. For the game, Isaac was 1 for 4 with a walk. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 23rd hit of the season gave Wichita a 5-4 lead.
