The San Antonio Storm Troopers defeated the Cincinnati Snaps, 10-4, at The Clone Army. San Antonio second baseman Orlando Fuentes was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. San Antonio reliever Kevin Everhart picked up the win to move to 1-0. Brendan Womersley suffered the loss. The Snaps, at 3-12, have stumbled out of the gate.

The Storm Troopers got a big at-bat from first baseman Jorge García. For the game, García was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 17th hit of the season gave San Antonio a 4-3 lead.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Fuentes.
