Wolverines Get Road Win, 10-5
|
Behind the bravura of catcher Shane Gross, the Wichita Wolverines topped the Carson City Mustang by the score of 10-5. Gross went 4-4 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Wolverines. The Wolverines, now 10-3, have been on fire in the early going.
Francisco Enriquez chipped in for Wichita with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.
