May Goes Off, But Ducks Win
Rock River got a terrific performance from left fielder Harry May, but it wasn't enough to beat the Long Island Ducks. Long Island won the The Rat Hole contest, 8-7. May was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Rats, now 6-6, continue their sluggish start.

Nick DeLuca aided the Long Island cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 4.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," DeLuca told the Long Island Daily News.
