Rock River right-hander Kang-il Hyong made an effective start against the Spokane Bulldogs at The Rat Hole, leading his team to a 8-6 win. The save was credited to Micah Davis, his 1st. The Bulldogs fall to 6-6 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.

Luis Alvarez aided the Rock River cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Hyong said.
