Storm Troopers Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
The San Antonio Storm Troopers stopped the Topeka Predators, 10-4, at The Clone Army. The Storm Troopers got a big game from Juan Báez, who was 2-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Pablo Sánchez, the winner, improved to 2-0. He held the Predators to 4 earned runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 3. San Antonio, now 3-5, is off to a slow start.
Báez had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Storm Troopers went on to win.
