Bernard Leads Spartans to Win over Rats
The Sandy Springs Spartans beat the Rock River Rats, 11-4, at The Coliseum. The Spartans got a fine performance from catcher Thomas Bernard, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4 for 4 with 4 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Ryouhei Kondo, the winner, improved to 1-0.
