The Wichita Wolverines defeated the Cincinnati Snaps, 12-10, at Howling Park today. Leading the charge for Wichita was third baseman Armando Galdos. He was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Wichita reliever Juan Salinas picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Scott Ray was collared with the loss. Earning his 1st save of the year was Al Hrabosky Jr..

Galdos had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Wolverines went on to win.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Dave Moran.

Wichita goes to 5-3 with the win.
