Hackers Score Late, Upend Tune-Ups, 3-2
|
Silicon Valley pitcher Jose Arguinzoni did his part in helping his team beat the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Hackers hope to make a postseason run.
Jonathan Weidlich was the walk-off hero for Silicon Valley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hackers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Arguinzoni.
