Costa has 3 hit night to Power Lights Offense

Behind a solid performance from center fielder Ramón Costa, the Phoenix Lights defeated the Atlantic City Enforcers, 8-6. Costa was 3-3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Lights. Liu-liang Xi got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits in 5.1 innings. Phoenix, now 2-3, is off to a slow start.
Mason Green had a big 2-run double for the Lights in the bottom of the second inning. With Phoenix leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Andy Mendoza and stroked the double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lights ahead, 3-0.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Green.
