Riverside pitcher Hyun-tae Hwan did his part in helping his team beat the Jacksonville Hellcats, 4-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Getting the save was Lien-ying Mar, his 1st. Riverside, now 4-2, has played well in the early going.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the bottom of the third inning. That's when designated hitter Germán Bravo drew a walk. The Red Bulls went on to win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hwan.
