Wolverines Get Past San Antonio for 5-4 Win
Wichita overcame a superlative game from Romain Quere to beat San Antonio, 5-4. The San Antonio pitcher took player of the game honors in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of shutout ball. Wichita is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 2nd in 5 games.

Wichita relied on the hitting of Alan Isaac to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Wolverines on top, 5-4. For the game, Isaac had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
