The Boise Hawks defeated the Frisco Rams, 10-7. Earning player of the game honors was third baseman Ricardo Garza, who was 1-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Hiroo Okimura nailed down his 2nd save. The loss drops Frisco to 2-3.

Garza contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Boise in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 6-5, Garza took a fastball from Ethan Harris and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Hawks to leap in front, 8-6.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Boise skipper Tom Becker.
