The Frisco Rams dealt the Boise Hawks a 4-3 loss at Basque Block Field. Toshio Matsuzaki was the star on offense. He was 2 for 2 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. José Trevino closed the door for Frisco, picking up his 1st save of the year. The win takes Frisco to 2-2.
Had Jung-hyun Yoon not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Yoon hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Rams.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Matsuzaki told the Frisco Today.
