Behind a solid performance from left fielder Alex Carlos, the Cincinnati Snaps defeated the Carson City Mustang, 13-6. Carlos was 3-3 with 3 singles and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Snaps. Reliever Sergio Rodríguez picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Pedro Robles took the loss. The Snaps, now 1-2, have not found much traction so far in 2033.

The Snaps got a lift from second baseman Tomoshi Tanaka who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning off Pedro Robles. It was his 3rd RBI of the season and put Cincinnati in front, 1-0.
