The Atlantic City Enforcers defeated the Pacifica Shamrocks, 11-9, at Parliament Field. Atlantic City second baseman Darren Michels was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Atlantic City reliever Doug Durham picked up the win to move to 1-0. Royce Leveque suffered the loss. Máximo Larreta closed the door for Atlantic City, picking up his 2nd save of the year.

Héctor García was 2 for 5 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs for Atlantic City. The 22-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring walk off Xavier Rivera. It was his 3rd walk of the season.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Michels, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The Enforcers raised their record to 2-1.
