Predators Deal Wolverines Painful Loss
The Topeka Predators downed the Wichita Wolverines, 5-4, at The Field at Richmond. The Predators were led by Darrell Prince, who captured player of the game honors. He was 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Predators, now 2-0, have been on a roll in the early going.

Joe Lee was the walk-off hero for Topeka. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Predators designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
