The Marysville Monarchs got a sterling performance from pitcher Vincente Cerni, but the Beetlecats still prevailed, 3-2. Cerni was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 5 innings allowing 2 runs. Buzzard's Bay reliever Dimitri Jourdan picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bing-de Ku absorbed the loss. Ji-hwan Yea earned his 1st save in 1 tries.
