Jennings scores 5 runs to Pull Shamrocks to .500

A nice crowd turned out to see the Pacifica Shamrocks and Atlantic City Enforcers clash at Parliament Field.
The Pacifica Shamrocks defeated the Atlantic City Enforcers, 17-6, at Parliament Field today. Leading the charge for Pacifica was second baseman Howard Jennings. He went 2-3 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 5 runs and drove in 2. The save was credited to Subaru Suzuki, his 1st.
The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from left fielder Barry Huffman. For the game, Huffman went 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave Pacifica a 1-0 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Huffman said after the game.
The win takes Pacifica to 1-1.
