Acapulco catcher Wiley Atherton made his presence felt in the 7-6 Banditos triumph over the Bowling Green Racers. Atherton went 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Acapulco is last in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division with a record of 66-94.
Late-game drama came in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, Wiley Atherton, hit a triple. It helped Acapulco seize the win.
