Calgary shortstop Jayden Rossell had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 9-8, to Peoria at Excavatar Park. Rossell was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Peoria reliever Matt Pinke was the winner. His record is now 4-5. Matis Barrier took the loss. Adam Stickells was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 15 of 18 save opportunities.

The Caterpillars got a big at-bat from designated hitter Dylan Pugsley. For the game, Pugsley was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Peoria a 8-7 lead.
