The Indian Wells Aeropostales topped the Albuquerque Cacti by the score of 5-1, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Bernardo Rodríguez. Rodríguez was 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks for the Aeropostales. Indian Wells reliever Vicente Chávez was the winner. His record is now 7-1. The losing pitcher was James Crowe. The Aeropostales bumped their record to 80-75 with this latest triumph.
Rodríguez had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the second inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Aeropostales went on to win.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Rodríguez told the Indian Wells Daily News.
