The Silver Lake Baristas had to overcome a big game from Bowling Green catcher Sancho Apodaea to leave Top of the Hill with a 8-6 victory. Apodaea was 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The third-place Baristas improved to 72-81.

Brady Warren drove in one run for Silver Lake. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Toshikazu Yokoyama. It was his 43rd RBI of the season.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Warren said.
