Marauders Walk It Off for 23rd Win of Season
|
Vancouver third baseman Ashis Mudigonda was sensational. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Maple beat the Pioneers, 7-6. Mudigonda was named the player of the game despite the loss. The winner was Marcos León in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Jo-hsi Sang took the loss. At 23-9, the Marauders have played well so far.
Dustin McMahon was the walk-off hero for Maple. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Marauders third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This place was rockin'," McMahon said.
