The Bowling Green Racers defeated the Scranton Escape, 5-4. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Xiao-xuan Zhou, who was 1-1 with 3 walks. Bowling Green reliever Brian Reddin was the winner. His record is now 5-4. Robert Cook took the loss. The Racers bumped their record to 79-73 with this latest triumph.

Frank Nicholson hit a run-scoring triple off Robert Cook in the bottom of the ninth, which put the Racers in front, 5-4. Nicholson had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 4.

"It feels good to get this one," Nicholson told the Bowling Green Chronicle.
