2033 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Pasadena Bumblebees.
The Joplin Fireballs defeated the Pasadena Bumblebees, 6-2, in Darryl Kile League action at The Hole, with Joplin pitcher Clay Melsom named player of the game. Joplin now sits in 5th place in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division at 68-82.
Takashi Tsuruta contributed to the Joplin win with a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
