The Albuquerque Cacti and Silver Lake Baristas completed their game despite the inclement weather.
Despite a fine performance by third baseman Chan-ho Lim, the Silver Lake Baristas suffered a 5-3 loss to the Albuquerque Cacti. Lim was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Dan Thompson picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 15-7. Vincent Bethea was tagged with the loss.
Damian Ballesteros put Albuquerque in front, 3-1, when he took Vincent Bethea downtown. His solo home run came with no one out in the bottom of the fifth. It was his 8th home run of the season.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Albuquerque manager Tom Robertson.
The first-place Cacti, at 93-54, now lead their division by 14˝ games.
