Calgary right fielder Akio Ishii had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Reno Raiders, 4-2. Matis Barrier picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 6-6. Daladhisvara Harishandra was tagged with the loss. Reno, at 73-74, has lost 4 straight.

Ishii contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Calgary in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Ishii took a curveball from Daladhisvara Harishandra and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Kodiaks to leap in front, 4-2.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Calgary skipper Shigetaka Ohayashi. "I can't complain."
