It was a good time at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, where fans came to watch the Bronx Bombers and Albuquerque Cacti get after it.

Cacti second baseman Dan Weston put his stamp on his team's 10-2 win over the Bronx Bombers. Weston was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for Albuquerque in the contest. Albuquerque reliever Dan Thompson picked up the win, bumping his record to 14-7. Ricardo Hernández was collared with the loss.

Weston had a key at-bat for Albuquerque early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Albuquerque an early 2-0 lead.

"I thought we played a nice game," Weston told the Albuquerque Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

Albuquerque is now 91-53, 15½ games up in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division.
