Death Stars Win in Glorious Fashion
The Detroit Death Stars outlasted the Vancouver Canadians in an extra-inning thriller.

The Detroit Death Stars went home winners at The Death Star, thanks in large part to starter Steve Ferguson. Ferguson silenced the Vancouver Canadians, enabling Detroit to grab the 1-0 win. The Death Stars bumped their record to 76-66 with this latest triumph.

Detroit won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Alexis Coates on the mound for Vancouver, catcher Morgan Catterall hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Death Stars fans to their feet.

Ferguson said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
