Anchorage Municipal Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Canton Paczkis and Omaha Raptors.
Omaha Raptors starter Michiomi Moteki turned in an exceptional performance against the Canton Paczkis at Anchorage Municipal Stadium, resulting in a Omaha win, 4-2. Edmundo Luas was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 5 save opportunities.
The Raptors got a big at-bat from catcher Xiao-peng Chuang. For the game, Chuang went 1-3 with a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 103rd hit of the season gave Omaha a 3-2 lead.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Omaha manager Jim Fernández.
The Raptors bumped their record to 74-65 with this latest triumph.
