Minneapolis Freeze starter Yaichiro Tamura turned in an exceptional performance against the Indian Wells Aeropostales at The Ice Box, resulting in a Minneapolis win, 4-1. Curt Hart was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 8 of 11 save opportunities. The Freeze bumped their record to 72-67 with this latest triumph.

Alex Moreno aided the Minneapolis cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Minneapolis manager John Justin.
