The Astoria Argonauts topped the Detroit Death Stars by the score of 3-1, with the largest share of the credit going to pinch hitter Mun-wah Lok. Lok was 1-1 for the Argonauts. Carlos Alonzo notched his 20th save in 23 chances. The second-place Death Stars have dropped 4 straight games.
The Argonauts got a big at-bat from center fielder Pancho Figueroa. For the game, Figueroa went 1-4 with a double. In the top of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Astoria a 2-1 lead.
