Canadians Rally For Late Win Over Banditos
Despite a fine performance by catcher Wiley Atherton, the Acapulco Banditos suffered a 11-9 loss to the Vancouver Canadians. Atherton went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. The winner was Vancouver reliever James Woodard, now 5-4. The loser was Khalid Legras. Vancouver now has a 3-game win streak.

Vancouver took a 10-9 lead on Masayuki Kimura's 13th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Kimura hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Acapulco pitcher Khalid Legras shaking his head.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Kimura.
