Dolinger Helps Cacti Run Win Streak to 5

It was a fun time at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, where the Bowling Green Racers and Albuquerque Cacti tangled.
The Albuquerque Cacti bested the Bowling Green Racers, 6-5, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Joe Dolinger was named player of the game. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Albuquerque reliever Dan Thompson was the winner. His record is now 12-6. Brian Reddin took the loss.
Dolinger had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the eighth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Cacti went on to win.
"It wasn't our best performance," said Dolinger, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
The second-place Racers have dropped 5 straight games.
