Cats Lose, 3-1, at Underdogs Ballpark
|
The Acapulco Banditos knocked off the Fort Worth Cats, 3-1, at Underdogs Ballpark. Kai Jolliffe, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Acapulco won. The third baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The last-place Banditos improved to 55-78.
Jolliffe had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Banditos went on to win.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Acapulco manager Salvador López.
