Mustangs Fall to Bungay, Freeze
The Minneapolis Freeze knocked off the Billings Mustangs, 8-4, at Cobb Field. Jim Bungay, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Minneapolis won. The third baseman went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. Yaichiro Tamura earned the win for Minneapolis. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 8 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 5-6. The Freeze bumped their record to 69-64 with this latest triumph.

Bungay had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Freeze went on to win.
