Canadians Fall to .500 After Loss to Titans
The Chicago Titans downed the Vancouver Canadians, 3-0, at The War Dome. The Titans were led by Maximo Sgattoni, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-3 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Chicago reliever Deug-yeom Park picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Javier Ballina shouldered the loss. At 62-71, Chicago is in 4th place in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.

Sgattoni was 3 for 3 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once against the Canadians. With the game tied in the bottom of the fourth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that scored 1 and put Chicago in front, 1-0.
