Earthquakes Lose to Sasquatch, 7-3
|
Seattle right-hander Dennis Montgomery made an effective start against the San Francisco Earthquakes at Golden Gate Park, leading his team to a 7-3 win. Getting the save was Gabresilassie Cherono, his 7th. The Earthquakes fall to 13-17 and continue their uneven start to the 2033 season.
Eddy Jacobse chipped in for Seattle with a solo home run in the top of the third. For the game, the designated hitter had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
"We take it day by day here," said Jacobse, "and today was a good one for us."
