|
Bowling Green pitcher Luis Rodríguez did his part in helping his team beat the Detroit Death Stars, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Sae-wan Yi got the save, his 22nd in 27 chances. The Racers bumped their record to 71-60 with this latest triumph.
Antonio Roman aided the Bowling Green cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk in 2 trips to the plate.
"Luis was pounding the zone," said Bowling Green manager Walt Dobson.
