Victory Pushes Flash Record to 87-41
|
Anchorage Municipal Stadium was the site for Nick Adenhart League action featuring the Omaha Raptors and Fairfield Flash.
Fairfield pitcher Frank Hillier did his part in helping his team beat the Omaha Raptors, 8-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Hillier picked up the win for Fairfield, going 8.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 3-0.
Early in the game, right fielder Si-dao Chi had a grand slam home run for Fairfield. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Flash on top, 4-1.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Chi said.
The Flash own a robust 87-41 mark.
