The Peoria Caterpillars eked out a 5-4 win versus the Indian Wells Aeropostales at Excavatar Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Matt Pinke, who captured player of the game honors. Peoria now sits at 64-65, while Indian Wells falls to 66-63.

Francis Barlow aided the Peoria cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Barlow said after the game.
