|
The Antioch Coal Miners topped the Vancouver Canadians, 6-3, in Darryl Kile League action at The Coal Mine. The player of the game was Antioch pitcher Rick Childress. The save was Zak Osborn's, his 11th. The first-place Coal Miners have a one-game lead in their division.
Lee Brooks aided the Antioch cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 2-4 with 2 doubles.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Childress said after the game.
