Aeropostales Bang Out 8-2 Win Versus Peoria
|
The Indian Wells Aeropostales got a stellar performance from pitcher John Faivre, who handcuffed the Peoria offense en route to a 8-2 win at Excavatar Park. Faivre went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 8-9. The Aeropostales bumped their record to 66-62 with this latest triumph.
Hsui-chen Shui, who is tied for 7th in the NAL with a .408 on-base percentage, aided the Indian Wells cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the second. For the game, the second baseman went 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"I really like what we did out there today," Shui said after the game.
