Billings and Peoria duked it out at Excavatar Park and the Mustangs came out victorious.

Billings rode a fine outing from starter Luis Sánchez to victory over the Peoria Caterpillars at Excavatar Park. The final score was 4-1. Billings is now 59-68, while Peoria is 63-64.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Kendrick MacAulay. For the game, MacAulay was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Billings a 2-1 lead.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Sánchez.
