The Caterpillars had to overcome a good performance from Billings pitcher Owen Dand to claim a 1-0 win at Excavatar Park. Dand went 8 innings and allowed no earned runs. The Caterpillars bumped their record to 63-63 with this latest triumph.

Bailey Povey was the walk-off hero for Peoria. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Caterpillars designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Povey said after the game.
