The Vancouver Canadians picked up a win at Stanley Park, knocking off the Albuquerque Cacti, 5-3. Starting pitcher Javier Ballina, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Vancouver is third in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division with a record of 62-63.

José Rodríguez aided the Vancouver cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Rodríguez told the Vancouver Gazette.
