The Fort Worth Cats stymied the Canton Paczkis, 6-2, at LaGrave Field. Shumei Heida, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 1-1. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Fort Worth. Fort Worth reliever Jesús Féliz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tom Cropper was saddled with the loss.
