Bombers Slip Past Antioch, 7-6
The Bronx Bombers topped the Antioch Coal Miners, 7-6, in Darryl Kile League action at Bronx Ballpark. The player of the game was Bronx catcher John Watt. Ewan Pethick picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-6. Zak Osborn was tagged with the loss. The Bombers bumped their record to 71-52 with this latest triumph.

Yoshitoki Kitamura was the walk-off hero for Bronx. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bombers designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Kitamura. "And not try to do too much."
